Monolith B4 Bookshelf Speaker

The Monolith B4 is a passive bookshelf speaker designed for stereo or home-theatre systems. It uses a 20mm silk dome tweeter mounted in a custom waveguide to widen dispersion and improve imaging. Dual 5-way binding posts accept bare wire, spades or banana plugs for straightforward amplifier connection.

Listeners wanting accurate midrange and punchy bass

This model suits buyers who want transparent midrange and quick, punchy bass from a compact cabinet. It is not for listeners who need a powered speaker with built-in amplification or wireless streaming. Buyers seeking a complete surround package from a single box should look at multi-speaker sets instead.

20mm silk dome tweeter with waveguide

The 20mm silk dome tweeter inside a large, customised waveguide is the specification that defines this speaker's high-frequency dispersion and sweet-spot width. If your system requires a different tweeter design or a larger driver for higher output, this unit will not match those requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the Monolith B4 143159 include speaker wire or do I need to buy it separately?

The speaker uses dual 5-way binding posts for connection; speaker wire is not included and must be purchased separately.

The custom waveguide widens dispersion, creating a broader sweet spot and more precise stereo imaging from the listening position.
