1/24 Scale 1979 Ford F-150 Collectible

This officially licensed diecast replica captures the 1979 Ford F-150 Custom Pickup in black. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. The model features true-to-scale detail throughout the interior and exterior. It is designed for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts.

Diecast Construction with Opening Features

The model combines diecast metal with plastic parts for structural accuracy. Functional opening doors reveal the detailed cabin. Real rubber tyres complete the authentic presentation. The fixed 1/24 scale determines the physical footprint of approximately L-8, W-3.5, H-3.25 inches.

Upgrade from Smaller Scale or Plastic Models

Collectors moving from smaller scales gain significantly more surface detail and interior visibility. The metal construction provides weight and durability absent from all-plastic alternatives. The jump is worth it when display presence and licensed accuracy are the priority. It does not suit buyers who need articulated suspension or engine bay access.

Questions about this item

Is the 1/24 scale the right size for a display shelf?

At roughly 8 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches high, the 1/24 scale model fits a standard shelf while keeping door and interior detail clear.

How much of the 1979 Ford F-150 Custom Pickup Truck is metal versus plastic?

The body and chassis are diecast metal; smaller trim pieces and the detailed interior use plastic to keep the model accurate and durable.

Do the opening doors and rubber tyres work on a fixed display base?

The doors swing open on hinges and the real rubber tyres roll freely, so the truck can be posed or moved without a base.
