Scale and audience

This 1/24 scale diecast model reproduces the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray in blue with silver racing stripes. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and display-focused enthusiasts. The model features opening doors and a detailed interior and exterior. Real rubber tires complete the realistic presentation.

Materials and handling

The body is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts for finer details. At approximately 7.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 2 inches high, it sits securely on a shelf without special mounting. No batteries or power are involved so there is no heat, noise or power draw to consider. The manufacturer ships it in a brand new box that may vary in design.

Upgrade context

This model replaces smaller-scale or less-detailed Corvette replicas that lack opening features or official licensing. The jump is worth it when a collector wants accurate 1/24 proportions, authentic badging and a factory-fresh unopened package. It does not suit buyers who need larger scales, remote-control function or track-ready durability.

Questions about this item

How do I display the 1/24 scale Corvette without damaging the diecast body or the real rubber tires?

Place the model on a stable shelf away from direct sunlight; support the chassis rather than the tires to prevent flat-spotting the rubber over time.

Will the opening doors or detailed interior need any upkeep to stay functional?

No scheduled maintenance is required; occasional dusting with a soft brush keeps the hinges and interior details clean.

At what point does the 7.5-inch length become a handling limitation during regular display changes?

The model's 7.5-inch length makes it awkward to grip securely with one hand, increasing drop risk when moving it frequently.
