Scale and Subject

This 1/24 scale diecast model replicates a Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) #8 Pickup Truck in red and yellow. It is aimed at adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed replicas with true-to-scale detail.

Upgrade Context

The model replaces simpler toy vehicles by adding opening features such as a functional tailgate and a detailed interior. The jump is worth it when display accuracy and licensed authenticity matter more than basic play value.

Capacity and Limits

Real rubber tires and a mixed diecast and plastic construction support close inspection and shelf display. The approximately 7.25 by 3 by 3.25 inch footprint fits standard display spaces but offers no play features beyond the opening tailgate.
