Handset cord and detangler kit

This pack contains two 10 ft uncoiled handset cords and two 360° rotating detanglers in black. Each cord coils to 1.2 ft and uses standard RJ9 4P4C connectors. The detanglers snap between the handset and cord to prevent twisting during calls. The set is designed for daily use on compatible desk phones.

For corded phones with RJ9 handset ports

Suits offices or homes using traditional corded telephones that accept RJ9 4P4C handset connections. The rotating detangler reduces cable snarls for users who move the handset frequently. Not suitable for cordless VoIP handsets or devices that require RJ45 modular plugs. Buyers needing wall-jack extension cables or longer line cords should look elsewhere.

RJ9 4P4C connector compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the RJ9 4P4C modular connector on both the cords and detanglers. Verify that the telephone handset port matches this interface before purchase. The gold-plated contacts aim to maintain clear audio on supported equipment.

Questions about this item

Does the 360° detangler add noticeable heat or power draw when the handset is in use all day?

The detangler is a passive mechanical swivel with gold-plated contacts; it draws no power and generates no heat during calls.

What must my telephone already have for the 10 ft RJ9 cords and 360° detanglers to connect?

Your corded phone needs a standard RJ9 (4P4C) handset port; the set is not compatible with RJ45 or cordless VoIP handsets.

Will the 1.2 ft coiled length and 360° swivel work with an older desk phone that has a short, stiff original cord?

Yes, the detangler snaps between the handset and the new 10 ft cord, replacing the short cord and adding full rotation to prevent tangles.
