Clamp-on keyboard tray

The MI-7143 mounts beneath a desk using a no-drill clamp that fits surfaces up to 2.2 inches thick. It provides a 27-inch-wide by 11-inch-deep platform for a keyboard and mouse. The tray slides in and out to adjust position quickly. The design meets ANSI/BIFMA standards for office furniture.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits anyone who wants to free desk space and lower their typing height for a neutral wrist posture without drilling holes. It does not suit desks thicker than 2.2 inches or users who need a platform wider than 27 inches or deeper than 11 inches. It also does not suit setups that require a fixed-height tray or a wall-mounted solution.

Deciding specification

The clamp thickness limit of 2.2 inches is the single figure that determines whether this tray will attach to your desk. If your desktop exceeds that measurement the unit cannot be secured. All other dimensions follow from this constraint.
