Formula Wheel Mod for ES Base

The Moza RS032 is a 280mm Formula Wheel Mod built for sim racers who use the ES wheel base on PC. Its aviation-grade aluminium body keeps the rim light and rigid during long sessions. Black rubber grips provide consistent hold without gloves. The wheel targets drivers who want a dedicated open-wheel rim for formula-style cars.

Sustained load behaviour

The aluminium construction resists flex when high torque loads are held through extended corners. Fixed rubber grips maintain a stable hand position during repeated gear changes and steering corrections. Because the mod is designed specifically for the ES base, the quick-release mechanism stays secure over many attach and detach cycles. No internal electronics are present to degrade under continuous force feedback.

Thermals noise and power

Passive materials mean the rim generates no heat and adds no audible noise to the setup. Power draw remains unchanged because the wheel draws all current through the ES base electronics. The aluminium body dissipates any warmth conducted from the base motor during lengthy races. No fan or active cooling is required on the wheel itself.

Questions about this item

Does the 280 mm aluminium body of the Moza RS032 stay cool during long racing sessions?

The aviation-grade aluminium construction helps dissipate heat naturally, so the wheel remains comfortable to hold even after extended use on PC.

What existing Moza hardware is required to use the RS032 Formula Wheel Mod?

It is designed specifically for the Moza ES wheel base, so you must already own that base for the mod to function.

Will the RS032 work with my older Moza wheel base if I keep it?

The mod is adapted only for the ES wheel base; compatibility with earlier Moza bases is not supported.
