1/25 Scale 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee Model Kit

This 1/25 scale plastic model kit by MPC recreates the 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee with 152 detailed parts. It is designed for adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy building vintage muscle car replicas. The kit features a "440 Six-Pack" 390 HP V-8 motor, console and "pistol grip" shifter, and Firestone wide oval tires. Chrome plated small parts and colorful decal artwork add authentic finishing touches.

Upgrade from Simpler Snap-Together Kits

This Skill 2 kit replaces basic snap-together models that lack engine detail or interior complexity. The jump is worth it when a builder wants a detailed "440 Six-Pack" V-8, hood hinges, bucket seats, master cylinder, and washer reservoir. Twin hood scoops, chrome exhaust tips, and factory wheels provide a higher level of realism. Vintage style packaging appeals to collectors seeking an authentic unboxing experience.

Assembly Requires Paint and Cement

Installation involves standard plastic model techniques using cement and paint, which are not included in the box. Parts are molded in white unless otherwise indicated, and "chrome" trim detail can be striped on with silver paint. Common issues include fitting the small chrome plated parts and aligning the decal artwork correctly. Patience is needed for the detailed engine assembly and interior components like the pistol grip shifter.
