Mpc 1973 Mercury Cougar "The Cat" 1/25 Scale Model Kit 127 Parts

Scale and Subject

This is a 1/25 scale plastic model kit of the 1973 Mercury Cougar "The Cat" released by MPC. It contains 127 detailed parts moulded primarily in white with chrome-plated trim pieces and black vinyl tires. The kit is rated Skill Level 2 and is intended for adult hobbyists and collectors who enjoy assembling vintage American muscle cars. Officially licensed packaging replicates the original vintage box art.

Detail Level and Build Scope

Builders can choose between two engine options and add optional parts such as a hood scoop and side pipes to customise the finished model. A detailed interior and chassis provide realistic under-hood and cabin views once assembled. Paint and cement are required but not included, so the kit suits modellers who already have basic workshop supplies and want a project that rewards careful finishing rather than snap-together convenience.

Missing Consumables and Decoration

The box supplies colourful decal artwork and chrome-plated small parts, yet no paint, glue or brushes are provided. Builders must source appropriate colours and adhesives separately to complete the model. The "chrome" trim can be replicated with silver paint if preferred. This kit is not for anyone seeking a pre-painted display piece or a tool-free assembly experience.
