Questions about this item

How long will the 1250 mAh cell power my Nuvi 785 under continuous navigation?

The 3.7 V 1250 mAh lithium-polymer pack stores 4.6 Wh; run-time depends on screen brightness and satellite acquisition, so the unit itself will show the remaining percentage during use.

Does the battery get hot or make noise during an all-day drive?

Lithium-polymer chemistry runs silently and generates only modest warmth under normal load; the Nuvi's own thermal management handles any heat produced.

What tools do I need to open my Nuvi 760 and swap the old 010-00583-00 cell?

The package includes the free installation tools required to open the case and disconnect the original battery connector.
