280 mAh Lithium-Polymer Battery for Nest Hello

This 3.7 V 1.04 Wh rechargeable pack replaces the 1ICP7/17/26 cell used in Nest Hello, C1241290 and NC5100US video doorbells. It is a direct-fit replacement for owners whose original battery no longer holds a charge. Buyers who need a higher-capacity cell or a different voltage will not be served by this pack.

Sustained Operation in Video Doorbells

The lithium-polymer chemistry delivers steady current during repeated motion events and live-view streaming without the voltage sag seen in aged cells. Capacity remains stable across daily charge cycles typical of hardwired doorbell installations. The pack is not designed for high-drain devices that draw continuous current beyond the doorbell's normal operating profile.

Straightforward Swap with Included Tools

Supplied installation tools let you open the doorbell housing and disconnect the old pack without sourcing separate screwdrivers or spudgers. The connector matches the factory plug, so no soldering or adapter cables are required. Installers who lack experience with small electronic assemblies should still proceed carefully to avoid damaging the fragile ribbon cable.

Questions about this item

Does the 3.7 V lithium-polymer cell generate noticeable heat when the doorbell records all day?

The 280 mAh pack runs at low voltage and typical doorbell duty cycles keep temperature rise minimal; no active cooling is needed.

What tools must I already own to swap the 1ICP7/17/26 battery in my Nest Hello?

The package includes the required opening tools, so only a clean workspace and steady hands are necessary.

Will this 1.04 Wh replacement work alongside the original wiring and chime kit I kept from my NC5100US install?

Yes, it fits the same connector and voltage spec, so existing wiring and chime hardware remain compatible.
