Safety Technology
A wireless door chime kit that sounds an alert when the sensor detects a knock vibration, with a 100ft range between sensor and receiver
The Safety Technology Knock Knock Door Chime 30092 is a wireless sensor and receiver set designed for homes or offices where knocking is easily missed. A vibration sensor attaches to the door and triggers a remote chime whenever someone knocks. Installation uses either supplied double-sided tape or screws, requiring no wiring. The receiver operates up to 100 ft from the sensor, covering large floor plans.
This system upgrades a standard door that provides no alert beyond the knock itself. The jump is worth it when occupants are frequently in rear rooms, basements, or gardens where a knock cannot be heard. It also helps households with hearing impairment or heavy interior doors that dampen sound. No electrical work is needed, so renters can install and remove it without damage.
The sensor only responds to physical knocking vibrations on the surface where it is mounted. It will not detect a doorbell press, motion outside, or entry through other doors unless additional sensors are purchased. Wireless range is rated at 100 ft, but walls and interference may reduce effective coverage. The system provides no smart-home integration, video, or remote notifications.

The sensor mounts using the supplied double-sided tape or screws, fixed directly to the door surface so it can detect knocking vibrations.
After mounting the sensor, the receiver must be placed within the 100 ft wireless range and powered on before testing the first knock.
Replace the batteries in both units when the chime volume drops or the receiver fails to sound after a firm knock.
