Replacement Battery for Compex Stimulators

The MPF Products 4H-AA1500 is a 4.8V 2000mAh 9.60Wh Ni-MH rechargeable pack built to replace part numbers 4H-AA1500 and 941210. It fits a wide range of Compex muscle stimulators including Energy, Energy Mi-Ready, Edge US, Fit 1.0, Fit 3.0, Full Fitness, Mi-Sport, Mi-Fitness, Performance Mi-Ready, Runner, SP 2.0, SP 4.0, Sport Elite and Vitality models. Users needing a direct swap for a depleted original battery will find the correct voltage and connector here.

Ni-MH Chemistry and Voltage Limits

The pack delivers 4.8 volts from nickel-metal-hydride cells rated at 2000mAh and 9.60Wh. Ni-MH chemistry self-discharges faster than lithium types, so capacity drops if the unit sits unused for weeks. The stimulator’s charging circuit is calibrated for this specific voltage and capacity; using a pack with different specs can trigger charge errors or shorten runtime. No built-in fuel gauge is present, so remaining charge must be judged by device runtime.

Simple Snap-In Installation

The battery mates with the stimulator’s internal compartment using the original connector orientation. Align the plug, press until seated, and secure the cover screws. Common issues arise when the connector is forced in reversed or when old adhesive residue blocks the cavity. A first charge cycle of several hours is recommended before clinical use to balance the cells.
