Micro ATX board for 4th generation Intel Core processors with LGA 1150 socket, dual-channel DDR3 up to 16 GB, one PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, two PCIe x1 slots, SATA II and III ports.
The MSI H81M-E35 is a Micro ATX motherboard built around the Intel H81 chipset and an LGA 1150 socket. It accepts fourth-generation Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors. Dual-channel DDR3 memory up to 16 GB at 1600, 1333 or 1066 MHz is supported.
A single PCIe 2.0 x16 slot handles a graphics card while two PCIe x1 slots and one PCIe slot add peripheral cards. Storage uses two SATA II and two SATA III ports. The rear panel provides four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports; four more USB 2.0 headers sit on the board. Realtek 8111G delivers Gigabit Ethernet and Realtek ALC887 handles eight-channel audio.
The H81 chipset and modest VRM area run cool under typical desktop loads, so standard case airflow is sufficient. No dedicated VRM heatsinks are present, keeping the layout simple for compact builds. Power draw stays low with office or media workloads, and the board draws only the current required by the installed CPU and memory.
