15.6 QHD 165Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Katana 15 pairs a 15.6 inch QHD panel at 165Hz with an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD support fast load times. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed. Wi-Fi 6E and a wired Ethernet port handle network connectivity.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers who want a high-refresh QHD display in a portable chassis will match this spec. Gamers who need more than 512GB of internal storage or who prefer a larger screen should consider other models. The 16GB memory configuration is fixed, so users planning heavy multitasking beyond that capacity should look at alternatives.

Check your setup before ordering

Confirm that your peripherals use USB Type-A, USB Type-C or HDMI, as those are the only video and data ports provided. Verify that a 15.6 inch form factor fits your workspace and carry bag. Ensure your network environment can use Wi-Fi 6E or wired Ethernet for best throughput.
