Thin 15 Gray 144Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Thin 15 Gray is a 15.6 inch Full HD gaming laptop with a 144Hz panel, an Intel Core i5-13420H eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6GB GPU. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD, plus Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license. Buyers who need a higher refresh rate or more video memory should look elsewhere.

Open-box upgrade and port layout

The original seal is opened by engineers for the RAM and SSD upgrade, then the unit is inspected and tested before dispatch. This adds a one-year warranty on the upgraded parts alongside the standard one-year manufacturer warranty on the remaining components. The port selection includes three USB-A 3.2, one USB-C 3.2, HDMI supporting 4K at 30Hz and an RJ45 Ethernet jack.

RTX 4050 6GB graphics card

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6GB of video memory. It determines which titles run at playable frame rates on the 15.6 inch 144Hz display and whether the HDMI output can drive an external 4K monitor at 30Hz. If your workload needs more VRAM or a higher GPU tier this model will not meet that requirement.
