Muelnmey 14/3 SJT extension cord

This 14/3 SJT power extension cord from Muelnmey delivers a 15 A, 125 V, 1875 W rated connection for indoor and outdoor appliances. The six-foot length adds reach for garden lights, holiday decorations, office equipment or kitchen devices. A built-in waterproof ON/OFF switch lets you control power without unplugging. The cord is UL listed and uses grounded NEMA 5-15P and NEMA 5-15R connectors.

Check your outlet and load before ordering

Verify that the wall receptacle supplies 125 V and can accept a grounded three-prong plug. Confirm the total connected draw stays within the 15 A, 1875 W rating to avoid overload. Ensure the switch housing will not be submerged or left fully exposed during heavy rain. The flexible vinyl jacket suits general use but is not rated for permanent outdoor burial.

Plug into a grounded socket

Connect the male plug to a standard grounded outlet and attach your device to the female receptacle. The inline switch adds convenient local control for lamps, fans or seasonal lighting without reaching the wall. The grounded path protects equipment that requires an earth connection. The cord frees a short appliance lead to reach a distant socket.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to start using the cord?

The package contains the 6 ft 14/3 SJT extension cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug and NEMA 5-15R receptacle plus the built-in waterproof on/off switch. No extra parts are required — just plug it into a 125 V outlet and connect your device.

How do I decide which gauge or amp rating fits my equipment?

The cord is a single 14 AWG, 15 A, 125 V, 1875 W model, so there is no choice of gauge or capacity. Use it for any grounded appliance that draws 15 A or less at 125 V.

What does the 1875 W rating mean when I plug in a real appliance?

It is the maximum continuous power the cord can deliver at 125 V without overheating. As long as the connected load stays at or below 1875 W (15 A), the vinyl jacket and grounded plug will handle the current safely.
