Mul-T-Lock #10 C Series Pop Shackle Padlock

This high-security padlock uses a hardened steel body and a 3/8" diameter shackle protected by a shroud that resists cutting and sawing attacks. The Original 006 keyway provides patented key control for restricted duplication. It ships with two keys and a key ID card for authorised reordering. The key-retaining mechanism prevents the shackle from locking unless the key is inserted and turned.

Installation requires no tools beyond the key

The shackle pops open when unlocked and must be pushed down firmly until it clicks to engage the locking bolts; the key must remain in the lock during this closing action. A common issue is forgetting the key-retaining step and assuming the padlock has secured itself when it has not. The unit can be converted to non-key-retaining operation only by installing the separate Mul-T-Lock conversion part SVC-CNV-PL-NKR, which is not included.

Hardened steel shell and protected shackle resist

The shrouded shackle design leaves minimal exposure for bolt cutters or hacksaws, making it suitable for high-value gates, storage units and commercial doors. The #10 C Series cylinder offers pick resistance and key control appropriate for managed master-key systems. It does not suit applications needing a longer shackle reach or a non-key-retaining default without the extra conversion kit.
