Yale B-PB5305LN 626 Storeroom Lever Lockset

The Yale B-PB5305LN 626 is a mechanical lever lockset designed for storeroom applications. It belongs to the 5300LN Pacific Beach style series from ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA. This hardware suits commercial doors where the outside lever remains locked at all times and entry is gained by key only.

Build quality and daily implications

The lockset features a 626 satin chrome finish on a lever design that meets commercial durability expectations. Its mechanical operation requires no batteries or wiring, so maintenance is limited to occasional lubrication. The fixed outside lever means the door always secures automatically when closed, supporting consistent access control.

Storeroom function decides suitability

The defining specification is the storeroom function: the exterior lever is always rigid and unlocked only by a key, while the interior lever always allows free egress. This makes the lockset appropriate for storage rooms, utility closets or server rooms that must stay locked from the outside. It is not suitable for passage doors that need unlocked levers on both sides, nor for privacy locks that require an interior push-button or thumbturn.
