The Mushkin Enhanced Atlas Vital is an M.2 2280 internal solid-state drive built for consumer PCs and laptops that accept SATA-based M.2 modules. It provides 250GB of storage using MLC NAND flash and a SandForce controller. The drive fits any M.2 2280 slot wired for SATA signalling.

SATA III 6Gb/s interface practical limits

The drive connects through a SATA 3.0 (6Gb/s) interface and is backwards-compatible with SATA 3Gb/s ports. Sequential reads reach up to 550 MBps and writes up to 530 MBps, while 4KB random reads hit up to 86,000 IOPS. These figures represent the practical ceiling of the SATA III bus.
