19V 3.42A 65W AC Adapter

This new myVolts adapter supplies 19 volts at 3.42 amps for a 65 watt output. It accepts worldwide input voltage from 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. The unit includes over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection. It is built as a direct replacement charger for the listed Toshiba Satellite, Portege and Tecra models.

Compatible Toshiba laptops only

The adapter fits the extensive range of Satellite, Portege and Tecra part numbers shown in the compatibility list. It will not suit laptops that require a different voltage, current or connector type. Buyers who need a charger for a non-Toshiba brand or a model outside the listed series should look elsewhere.

19V 3.42A 65W output specification

The decisive specification is the 19 volt 3.42 amp 65 watt DC output. Match this exactly to the original power supply label on the laptop. If the laptop calls for a different voltage or wattage, this adapter is not the correct part.

Does the 65 W 19 V adapter run hot or make noise when powering a Toshiba Satellite all day?

What cable or connector must I already have to plug this adapter into my Toshiba laptop?

The adapter includes the correct barrel tip for every listed Satellite, Portege and Tecra model, so no extra cable is needed.

Will this 100-240 VAC charger work safely with an older Toshiba Satellite C650D-ST4NX1 that originally used a 19 V supply?

Yes — the worldwide 100-240 V input and 19 V 3.42 A output match the C650D-ST4NX1 requirements exactly.
