What this adapter powers

This 90-watt AC adapter supplies 20 volts at 4.5 amps for a wide range of Lenovo ThinkPad and IdeaPad models. It replaces original part numbers such as ADLX65NLC3A and PA-1650-72 for X, T, E, L, S and Yoga series laptops.

Installing the square-tip connector

The rectangular USB-style tip plugs directly into the laptop power port without tools. Ensure the connector seats fully; a loose fit can cause intermittent charging or no power detection.

Check your laptop before ordering

Verify that your machine accepts a 20-volt 4.5-amp input and uses the square USB-style tip rather than a round barrel connector. Confirm the original charger part number matches the compatible list supplied.

Which connector tip matches the square USB rectangular pin used on the ThinkPad T460s?

The adapter ships with the square USB rectangular pin tip that fits the T460s and the other listed models.
