Compatible Lenovo Chromebook models

This AC charger fits Lenovo Chromebook N42 N23 N22 N24 N42-20 N42-20T and N22-20 laptops. It supplies a maximum output of 20V 2.25A 45W across an input range of 100-240V. The unit carries UL listing for safety compliance. Buyers who need a charger for a different Lenovo series or a higher wattage requirement should look elsewhere.

Included UL listed power cord

The package contains one power adapter and one UL listed power cord. The listed cord meets stringent safety standards that unlisted alternatives may not satisfy. This bundle removes the need to source a separate mains lead. Users who already own a compatible cord gain no additional benefit from the included item.

Straightforward barrel connection

Installation consists of plugging the barrel tip into the laptop and the cord into a wall socket. No driver installation or configuration is required. The 30 day replacement window covers early defects. Buyers who prefer a USB-C power delivery solution will find this barrel connector incompatible with their workflow.

Questions about this item

How often should the power cord be replaced on this 45W charger?

The UL-listed power cord is built for long-term use; replace it only if the insulation shows wear or the plug becomes loose.

What limits continuous output when the adapter runs at 20V 2.25A for hours?

The 45W rating is the sustained ceiling; the unit will throttle or shut down if that load is exceeded for long periods.

How much heat does the brick produce when charging a Chromebook all day?

Normal warmth is expected at 45W; the Level VI efficiency design keeps excess heat low during extended sessions.
