Expands one PCI-E 4X slot into four USB 3.0 ports for mining or GPU risers, powered directly from the motherboard
This riser card turns a single PCI-E 4X slot into four external USB 3.0 connectors. It plugs directly into a 4X, 8X or 16X motherboard slot and needs no extra power cable. The board is aimed at mining rigs or multi-GPU setups that have run out of native PCI-E lanes. It will not fit a PCI-E X1 slot.
Each USB 3.0 port carries a PCI-E signal to a riser board or GPU adapter. Bandwidth is limited to the host slot’s 4X width, so four active devices divide that throughput. The design works for cryptocurrency mining where each card runs at reduced speed. It is not suited for workloads that need full 16X bandwidth per device.
The four USB 3.0 sockets are gold-plated to lower contact resistance and signal noise. No external power adapter is required because the card draws power from the PCI-E slot itself. The direct-mount layout removes ribbon cables, reducing clutter and potential failure points. Buyers who need shielded cables or powered risers must source them separately.

Yes, the bus interface is compatible with 4X, 8X and 16X graphics card slots, so it will fit your existing 16X slot.
Check Device Manager or lsusb -t on Linux; each port should enumerate as a 5 Gbps SuperSpeed link with no errors reported.
The box contains only the riser card itself; four USB 3.0 cables for the GPU connections are not included and must be purchased separately.
