Side-load 12U wall rack

This open-frame rack mounts 19-inch equipment sideways against a wall, giving front and rear access from any angle. It suits network gear, servers or A/V units in closets, back offices or other space-limited areas. The 12U height and 22-inch depth accept a range of rack-mount devices.

Build integration needs

The cage-nut rails are numbered for quick alignment during assembly. Open sides and top, bottom and side cable-entry points simplify routing without a rear wall barrier. Steel construction at 1.5mm thickness provides structural rigidity while the open frame maximises airflow around installed hardware.

Upgrade path and limits

It replaces front-load wall racks when deeper equipment or easier rear servicing is required. The side-load layout frees additional mounting depth but does not suit buyers who need enclosed security panels or integrated cooling fans. Larger 15U and smaller 9U versions exist for different capacity needs.

Questions about this item

How deep is the rack and will a 22-inch server fit without hitting the wall?

The rack is 22 inches deep and the side-load design removes any rear wall barrier, so a 22-inch deep server can be mounted with full rear access.

Does the open steel frame run hot or make noise when equipment runs all day?

The 1.5 mm cold-rolled steel open frame has no fans and no panels, so it adds no noise and allows unrestricted airflow to keep gear cool.

Are cage nuts and mounting screws included, or do I need to buy them separately?

Assembly and mounting hardware are included, and the fixed cage-nut rails are marked and numbered for quick installation.
