15U Server Cabinet for Network Gear

This NavePoint cabinet provides 15U of rack space in a 600mm deep frame that accepts standard 19-inch equipment. It suits installers who need a compact enclosure for switches, patch panels or audio-visual hardware. The welded steel construction supports up to 130 pounds of mounted devices.

Depth and Mounting Constraints

The 600mm depth limits the length of servers or chassis that can fit inside, so deeper rackmount units will not install. The unit can be wall-mounted or placed on the included casters for floor standing, but the fixed dimensions restrict placement to spaces that accommodate the 24-inch width and depth.

Assembly and Access Considerations

The cabinet ships flat-packed and requires assembly of the welded frame, rails and included shelves. Removable locking side panels and an L-shaped spring pin for door swing reversal simplify access once built, yet the self-assembly process demands time and basic tools that some buyers may not expect.

Questions about this item

Is the 15U height the right choice for my current rack-mount gear?

The cabinet provides 15 rack units of vertical space and accepts standard 19-inch equipment, so count the U-height of each device you plan to install and ensure the total does not exceed 15U.

What does the 130-pound weight capacity mean once the cabinet is loaded?

The welded steel frame is rated to hold up to 130 pounds of combined equipment, shelves and accessories distributed across the three included shelves and the rack rails.

How does the 600mm depth limit what I can install?

At 600mm deep the cabinet accommodates most network switches, patch panels and shallow servers, but deeper chassis or full-length GPU cards may not fit.
