1U 19" Cantilever Shelf 10" Depth

The NavePoint 1U cantilever shelf mounts in any standard 19 inch rack or cabinet. It is built from cold rolled steel with a black electro-static powder coated finish and arrives fully assembled. The vented surface helps airflow around equipment placed on the shelf. A front lip helps keep devices from sliding forward.

Suits shallow racks and light gear

This shelf suits installers who need a shallow 10 inch deep platform for modems, switches or patch panels in a 1U space. The 44 pound capacity covers most small network devices. Buyers who need deeper shelves for servers or heavier appliances should look at other models.

44 pound weight capacity

The decisive specification is the 44 pound weight capacity. Verify that the combined weight of all equipment you plan to place on the shelf stays below this limit. Exceeding it risks bending the steel or damaging rack mounts.

Questions about this item

Will the 1U cantilever shelf fit my existing 19-inch rack without blocking the unit below?

Yes, the shelf occupies only 1.75 inches of vertical space and mounts to the front rails, leaving the rack unit beneath it fully accessible.

How can I confirm the 44-pound capacity is safe for my equipment after installation?

Load the shelf gradually and verify the front lip and vented steel deck remain level with no visible flex or bolt movement.

Does the package include the M6 screws and cage nuts needed to mount the 17.63-inch-wide shelf, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains four sets of M6 screws, cage nuts and washers, so no additional hardware is required for a standard 19-inch rack.
