Fixed 4-Post Rack Shelf

The NavePoint 1U shelf mounts in standard 19-inch racks and holds up to 110 pounds of equipment. Its fixed surface measures 16.81 by 23.63 inches and includes slotted venting for airflow. The unit ships with both 10-32 and 12-24 mounting screws for immediate installation.

Replaces Cantilever Shelves

This shelf replaces single-sided cantilever trays when deeper or heavier devices need four-post support. The adjustable mounting rails span 17.75 to 33.88 inches, so the jump is worth it whenever the rack depth falls inside that range. Builders with shallower or deeper bays cannot use this model.

Fits Standard 19-Inch Racks

The shelf occupies 1U of vertical space and 17 inches of width between the front and rear rails. Cold-rolled steel with a powder-coated finish resists corrosion in dense cabinets. Assembly is required, and the fixed depth means the usable surface does not change when the rails are repositioned.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.75-to-33.88-inch adjustable rails fit my 19-inch rack?

Yes, the rails adjust from 17.75 to 33.88 inches to match standard 19-inch four-post racks, and the shelf uses 1U of vertical space.

Which screws do I use for the 10-32 versus 12-24 threaded holes?

The package includes eight 10-32 and eight 12-24 screws; use the thread that matches your rack’s cage nuts or tapped rails.

Does the 16.81-by-23.63-inch surface need any upkeep?

The powder-coated cold-rolled steel resists rust and corrosion, so no routine maintenance is required beyond keeping vents clear.
