3U Blank Panel Spacer

This 3U blank panel spacer fills unused rack space in a standard 19 inch server enclosure. It is designed for IT professionals who need a clean, non-vented cover to maintain proper airflow management and a tidy appearance inside the cabinet.

Installation Notes

The panel mounts vertically on the rack rails using the included 10-32 screws. Because the spacer is only 0.31 inches deep, ensure the mounting rails are correctly spaced so the panel sits flush without binding against internal cables or equipment.

Pre-Order Checklist

Confirm your rack uses a standard 19 inch width and that you have an open 3U vertical space. Verify the rail depth suits the 5.25 inch panel height and that the non-vented design matches your thermal management plan.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the blank panel spacer is seated correctly after mounting it in my 19-inch rack?

The panel should sit flush against the vertical mounting rails with no gaps, and the 10-32 screws must be fully tightened so the 5.25-inch high face does not move when pressed.

What hardware is included with the spacer and what must I supply myself?

The package includes 10-32 mounting screws; you only need to provide a screwdriver and the 19-inch rack or cabinet with standard mounting rails.

Which rack-unit height should I choose for my enclosure?

Select the 3U version when you need to fill a 5.25-inch high opening in a standard 19-inch rack; other heights are offered separately for different gap sizes.
