6U Blank Panel for 19-Inch Racks

This six-unit blank panel fits any standard 19-inch server or network cabinet. It is built from cold-rolled steel with a black powder-coated finish. The non-vented design closes unused rack space to maintain proper airflow direction. Mounting screws are included in the package.

Replaces open gaps in rack enclosures

Open bays let hot exhaust air recirculate into cold intake zones, raising equipment temperatures. Installing this spacer seals the gap so front-to-rear cooling works as designed. The upgrade is worth it whenever a rack has empty units above or below active gear.

Suits installers closing unused rack units

Network engineers and server builders who need to blank out 6U of vertical space will find the panel matches standard rail spacing. The fixed vertical mounting uses the included 10-32 hardware. Buyers who require vented airflow through the panel or a different rack-unit height should look at other options.

Questions about this item

How deep is the 6U blank panel so I can check rail clearance?

The panel is 0.31 inches deep, so it adds minimal depth between the front mounting rails.

Which screws are used to secure the panel to 19-inch rack rails?

The package includes 10-32 screws; align the panel holes with the rail threads and tighten each screw evenly to avoid stripping.

Does the solid steel panel need any cleaning or airflow maintenance over time?

No moving parts or vents exist; occasional dusting of the powder-coated surface is the only upkeep required.
