Product Overview

The NavePoint 9U wall-mount cabinet holds standard 19-inch rack equipment in a perforated steel frame. Two built-in fans and vented sides provide active airflow for network switches, patch panels or small servers. The unit ships flat-packed and requires assembly before mounting.

Ideal Use Cases

This cabinet suits installers who need a 9U enclosure with 450 mm depth and 132 pound load rating for wall or floor placement. Buyers who want more rack units should consider the 12U, 15U or 18U models in the same range. It is not intended for equipment exceeding the stated depth or weight limit.

Critical Specification

The 450 mm overall depth decides whether your gear fits inside the welded SPCC steel chassis. Measure each device from front panel to rear cable bend; anything longer will prevent the locking side panels from closing.

Questions about this item

What does the 9U rating translate to for actual equipment mounting?

Nine rack units give you space for nine standard 19-inch devices stacked vertically inside the cabinet.

What mounting standard do the rails follow and what equipment width does that limit you to?

Cage-nut rails conform to the 19-inch rack standard, so only gear built for that width will bolt in.

How deep is the cabinet and what wall-mount clearance does that require?

The enclosure measures 17.72 inches deep, so allow at least that much projection from the wall plus cable bend radius.
