NavePoint Cat5e Plenum 1000ft Blue 24AWG 350MHz network ethernet cable

Plenum-Rated Cat5e for In-Wall Runs

This NavePoint Cat5e bulk cable carries a CMP plenum rating, making it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces, between floors and inside walls. The 1000 ft pull box contains four solid bare copper pairs in an unshielded twisted-pair construction. It is built to meet ANSI TIA/EIA 568.2 requirements and tested to 350 MHz bandwidth.

Installers needing fire-code compliance

The plenum jacket satisfies building codes for commercial and residential plenum spaces, so electricians and IT contractors can run it without conduit in those areas. It will not meet the needs of installers who require shielded cable for high-EMI environments or outdoor-rated jacket for direct burial.

350 MHz tested bandwidth

The cable is verified to 350 MHz, which supports Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100 m channel. This frequency rating is the key specification that determines whether the link will carry the desired data rate for the intended application.
