This green NavePoint CAT5e riser-rated bulk cable ships as a 1000 ft pull-box for indoor structured-wiring jobs. It uses 24 AWG solid bare-copper conductors in four unshielded twisted pairs and carries a CMR fire-retardant jacket. The jacket is marked at every foot so installers can cut custom lengths quickly. It is rated for 100 MHz bandwidth with tested performance up to 400 MHz.

Suited for permanent in-wall runs and PoE devices

The solid-core design makes this cable appropriate for horizontal runs between patch panels, wall plates and network switches where the cable will not be moved after installation. It supports computers, routers, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, gaming consoles, extenders, switch boxes and PoE-powered equipment. The single specification that decides fit is the 24 AWG solid bare-copper construction. Solid conductors deliver lower attenuation over long horizontal distances but cannot tolerate repeated bending. If the job requires flexible jumpers or cables that will be coiled and uncoiled, this solid-core cable is not the right choice.
