  • Product colorYellow

  • Gigabit-ready CAT5E supports 1000 Mbps speeds
  • Ten cables in one pack for multi-device setups
  • Snagless boots protect clips during frequent changes

Compact patch cables for tight installs

This NavePoint CAT5E UTP cable pack contains ten yellow cords each measuring .5 feet. The 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors are built for gigabit ethernet up to 1000 Mbps. Snagless boots protect the tabs during frequent moves in crowded racks or behind desks.

Ideal for dense patch panels not long runs

The extremely short length suits server racks, wall plates and patch panels where slack must be eliminated. Buyers who need cables to cross a room, reach a distant switch or span between floors should look at longer lengths because these cords cannot bridge that distance.

.5 foot length decides fit

At .5 feet the cable only reaches equipment seated side by side in the same enclosure. Measure the exact port-to-port gap before ordering; any greater separation will require a different cable length.

Questions about this item

Will these 0.5 ft CAT5E cables work with my older 10/100 Mbps router and switch ports?

Yes, the cables are compatible with 10/100/1000 Base-T networks, so they will function correctly with older 10/100 Mbps equipment as well as Gigabit devices.

How can I verify the 10-pack cables are delivering Gigabit speeds after connecting them?

Check the link speed on your connected devices; a 1 Gbps negotiation confirms the 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 contacts are performing to the CAT5E standard.

Does the 10-pack include only the yellow patch cords or are wall plates and a crimping tool also supplied?

The box contains ten 0.5 ft snagless CAT5E patch cables with RJ45 connectors on both ends; wall plates, keystones, or termination tools are not included and must be purchased separately.
