10-pack CAT6 bulk cable

This product consists of ten reels of Category 6 unshielded twisted-pair cable, each containing 1000 ft of solid 23 AWG copper-clad aluminium conductor. The white jacket simplifies identification in structured wiring installations for homes, offices and commercial premises.

Upgrade from CAT5e links

Replacing older CAT5e runs with this CAT6 cable supports higher bandwidth for Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP phones, IP cameras, gaming consoles and network switches. The jump is worthwhile when existing cabling limits throughput or when new drops must meet current horizontal-wiring specifications.

Installers needing bulk white CAT6

Suited for contractors and IT teams pulling horizontal cables through walls, ceilings or conduit where a white jacket aids visual tracing. Not suited for buyers who require pure copper conductors for Power over Ethernet budgets, outdoor-rated jackets, shielded construction or pre-terminated patch cords.

Questions about this item

How thick is the 23 AWG solid conductor and will it fit standard RJ45 plugs?

The cable uses 23 AWG solid copper-clad aluminium conductors; standard Category 6 RJ45 plugs accept this gauge, but verify the plug's stated wire-range before terminating.

What is the most common mistake when terminating these solid conductors?

Stripping the jacket too far back and untwisting the pairs excessively; keep the twists as close to the contact point as possible to preserve Category 6 performance.

How often should the 1000 ft CCA cable be inspected or replaced after installation?

CCA is less tolerant of repeated flexing than solid copper; inspect termination points if the cable is moved, and plan to replace any run that shows intermittent connectivity or physical damage.
