Bulk CAT6 CCA cable for structured wiring

This NavePoint Category 6 cable uses copper-clad aluminium conductors in a four-pair unshielded twisted-pair construction. The 1000ft pull box suits installers wiring homes, offices or data closets for computers, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, gaming consoles and network switches.

Pull-box format speeds long runs

The continuous 1000ft length lets you cut exact drops without joining shorter patches, reducing potential failure points. Supplied as raw bulk cable without pre-fitted connectors, so you terminate each end to match the keystones, patch panels or plugs your project requires.

Solid conductors demand punch-down skill

Solid CCA cores are stiffer than stranded patch leads and must be punched down onto IDC blocks or crimped with plugs rated for solid wire; using stranded-only connectors causes intermittent faults. The supplier advises testing every run before final installation to catch wiring errors early.

Questions about this item

How often will the solid copper-clad aluminium conductors need to be re-terminated in a permanent installation?

Solid CCA conductors are not designed for repeated flexing; once punched down or crimped they should remain in place for the life of the installation.

What is the first limit reached when running the full 1000ft length at gigabit speeds?

The 100 metre channel limit for Category 6 will be exceeded before signal degradation becomes an issue on this cable.

Does the unshielded grey jacket add noticeable heat or power draw when the cable carries PoE loads all day?

The UTP construction adds no active heat or power consumption; only the connected devices determine thermal and electrical load.
