NavePoint CAT6 CMR 10-pack

This pack contains ten reels of Category 6 riser-rated UTP bulk cable for permanent installation in walls and between floors. Each reel holds 1000 feet of white 23AWG cable with a 5.8 mm diameter. The product is new and designed for gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, IP cameras, PoE devices and similar high-bandwidth applications.

Installation and common issues

The bare copper conductors meet ANSI/TIA 568.2 specifications and are rated for 550 MHz bandwidth. Because the cable is CMR rated it suits non-plenum vertical runs but cannot be used in plenum air spaces. Installers should avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension to maintain certified 10/100/1000 Mbps performance.

Who this suits and who it does not

Builders wiring multiple rooms or floors benefit from the ten-reel quantity and riser rating. Buyers who need plenum-rated cable for air-handling spaces or who require shielded construction for high-interference environments should look at alternative products. The solid-core design is not intended for flexible patch cords.
