Short Cat6a patch cables for rack and desk use

This five-pack of black NavePoint CAT6A S/FTP cables is built for short runs between patch panels, switches, servers, routers and end devices. Each cord is 1 ft long with 26 AWG stranded conductors, a PVC jacket and snagless boots. The shielded twisted-pair construction supports 10 Gbps transmission and is rated for high-power PoE.

Suited for dense patching and Wi-Fi 6 access points

Installers who need low-loss links in crowded racks or behind equipment will benefit from the foil and braid shielding. Buyers who want longer horizontal runs or cables for in-wall installation should look at solid-conductor bulk cable instead.

10 Gbps CAT6a rating for high-speed PoE and Wi-Fi 6

The CAT6A specification delivers up to 10 Gbps bandwidth and handles the elevated power levels required by PoE+ and Wi-Fi 6 access points, making this the decisive factor for high-density, high-power deployments.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1-foot 5-pack or a longer single cable?

The 1-foot 5-pack suits short rack or desk links where you need several tidy runs; choose a longer single cable only when the distance between devices exceeds one foot.

What does the 10 Gbps rating deliver in my rack?

It supports 10GBASE-T up to the cable's length, so 10 Gbps throughput is achievable on 10/100/1000 Base-T gear and future Wi-Fi 6 uplinks without bottlenecking the link.

How does the S/FTP shielding affect PoE and noise?

The S/FTP construction cancels alien crosstalk and handles higher PoE power levels, making it reliable for surveillance cameras and other high-power IoT devices.
