Pack of five 7 ft yellow CAT6A S/FTP patch cables with 26 AWG stranded copper conductors for 10 Gbps networking
This five-pack of NavePoint CAT6A S/FTP patch cables provides shielded twisted-pair links rated for 10 Gbps transmission. The 26 AWG stranded copper conductors and snagless boots suit rack uplinks, Wi-Fi 6 access points and PoE-powered IoT devices such as surveillance cameras. Yellow jackets simplify cable identification in dense patches.
Upgrade when existing cables limit throughput to 1 Gbps or when alien crosstalk degrades PoE stability in crowded trays. The foil-and-braid shielding raises noise immunity so higher PoE classes negotiate reliably. The jump is worth it for new 10 Gbps backbone segments or wherever 1000 Base-T links already saturate.
The CAT6A standard tops out at 10 Gbps over 100 m, so this 7 ft assembly cannot extend a link beyond that ceiling. Shielding adds bulk, making tight bends behind patch panels less forgiving than unshielded equivalents. Buyers needing longer horizontal runs or outdoor-rated jackets must look elsewhere.

The stranded 26 AWG conductors and PVC jacket make the cable flexible, so it bends easily in tight rack spaces; the moulded strain-relief boots add a small bump at each end that should be allowed for when routing.
Press the tab fully until it clicks — pushing only the cable body leaves the latch half-engaged and can cause intermittent 10 Gbps links.
Check the boot latch and jacket for cracks after any re-termination or if the cable has been sharply bent; oxidation-resistant contacts reduce corrosion, but physical damage still degrades PoE power delivery over time.
