1U Rack Mount Shelf Rails

This two-pack provides full-depth shelf rails that occupy 1U of rack space. They are designed for standard 19", 23" and 30" four-post cabinets. The 14 gauge cold rolled steel construction supports at least 110 pounds. A satin black coating protects the steel surface.

Adjustable Depth and Included Hardware

Depth adjusts to 33.25 inches to match cabinet dimensions. Both 10-32 and 12-24 mounting screw kits are supplied so the rails fit either thread pattern. The nested floor design distributes weight across front and rear posts. No direct device mounting is required.

Suits Multi-Vendor Rack Deployments

These rails suit administrators managing mixed Dell, IBM, HP, Compaq or APC cabinets who need a sturdy, adjustable shelf. They are not intended for two-post racks or thread patterns other than 10-32 and 12-24. Buyers needing deeper than 33.25 inches or higher load capacity should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 14 gauge cold rolled steel rails need periodic tightening of the 10-32 or 12-24 mounting screws under vibration?

The 14 gauge cold rolled steel rails include both 10-32 and 12-24 screw kits; periodic inspection of mounting hardware is recommended for any rack installation subject to vibration.

What load limit appears first when the 110 lbs capacity shelf is fully extended to 33.25 inches?

The 110 lbs weight capacity is the rated limit; the full nested floor distributes load across front and rear posts at any depth setting up to 33.25 inches.

Do the 1U high rails generate noticeable heat or noise when supporting equipment continuously?

The passive 14 gauge steel rails have no moving parts or electronics, so they produce no operational noise or heat regardless of load or duty cycle.
