  • See track info clearly on illuminated LCD display
  • Connect external audio sources via aux-in jack

Compact micro system for CD and radio listeners

The Naxa NS-438 combines a vertical-loading CD player with AM/FM reception in a single unit. It suits listeners who want physical media playback and broadcast radio without a separate component stack. Dual built-in speakers provide sound directly from the cabinet.

CD playback limited to standard audio discs

The vertical-loading mechanism accepts regular compact discs but does not support MP3 or data discs. Analog tuning with a digital readout selects stations, yet there is no preset memory for favourite frequencies. The auxiliary input only passes external audio through the internal speakers.

Weighs 5.07 lbs and measures 15.80 x 7.80 x 7.80 in

These dimensions decide whether the system fits the intended shelf or countertop. Buyers needing a lighter portable radio or a smaller footprint should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

Which version of the Naxa NS-438 should I choose?

The NS-438 is offered as a single configuration with vertical-loading CD playback, AM/FM radio, dual speakers and a full-function remote so there is no separate version to select.

What does the 5.07 lb weight mean once the unit is on a shelf?

At 5.07 lb the micro system is light enough to move between rooms yet stable enough to stay put during disc changes or volume adjustments.

What does the aux-in jack cap in practice?

The aux-in jack accepts a standard line-level cable from a phone, tablet or other portable player so external audio plays through the built-in dual speakers.
