7" LCD Portable DVD Boombox

The Naxa NDL-287M-GRAY combines a 7-inch widescreen display with a built-in ATSC digital TV tuner, DVD player and Bluetooth 2.1 audio streaming. It is designed for viewers who want free-to-air television and disc playback in a single carry-anywhere unit.

Disc and media flexibility

The slot-load drive reads DVD, DVD±R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW discs while the USB port and SD/SDHC card slot accept MP3 and digital video files. AM/FM radio adds broadcast listening, but the player has no internal battery and cannot run from USB power alone.

Included accessories for immediate use

A full-size remote control, composite A/V cable, AC power cord, 12 V DC car adapter and wired microphone ship in the box. Eight C-size cells are required for battery operation and are not supplied, so portable use away from mains or a vehicle needs a separate purchase.

Will the composite A/V output let me connect this 7" DVD player to an older TV that only has RCA inputs?

Yes, the unit provides RCA composite A/V output so you can send video and stereo audio to a legacy television.

How do I confirm the built-in ATSC tuner is receiving over-the-air channels after I run the channel scan?

The 7" LCD will display the channel list and programme information once the scan completes, showing each detected HD station.

Does the package include the 8 C-size batteries needed for portable power, or do I buy them separately?

The box contains the boombox, remote, A/V cable, AC cord, DC car cord, wired microphone and manual; C-size batteries are not included.
