What this projector is and who it suits

The Nebula Mars II Pro D2323 is a portable DLP home-theatre projector that delivers a native 1280 x 720 image at 500 ANSI lumens. It runs Android 7.1 so you can stream directly from apps such as YouTube and Netflix without an external stick. The picture scales from 40 to 150 inches, making it suitable for living-room movie nights, backyard screenings or classroom presentations where a quick set-up matters more than 4K detail.

Check your setup before ordering

The unit accepts HDMI and USB sources and mirrors phones via Miracast, but copyrighted services such as Netflix and Hulu cannot be screencast — you must install their apps on the projector itself. Chromecast is not supported. The cabinet measures 7.01 x 5.24 x 4.8 inches and weighs four pounds, so confirm you have a stable surface or tripod mount within reach of a power outlet for full brightness.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

Three operating modes manage heat and battery life: Auto gives 500 lumens on mains power and 200 lumens on battery, Battery mode locks output at 200 lumens regardless of source, and Standard mode holds 500 lumens while the battery stays above 20 percent then drops to 200 lumens. The LED lamp is rated for 30,000 hours, so fan noise stays low during typical viewing sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the D2323 include cables or a remote, or must I buy them separately?

The projector ships with a remote control, power adapter and HDMI cable so you can start watching immediately.

Should I pick Auto, Battery or Standard mode for the brightest 500 ANSI lumen picture?

Choose Auto or Standard mode while plugged in; both deliver the full 500 ANSI lumen output at 720p.

What does the 500 ANSI lumen rating mean for a 100-inch screen in a living room?

At 500 ANSI lumens the 1280 x 720 image stays clear on a 100-inch screen with curtains drawn; brighter rooms will look washed out.
