Purpose-built desk phone
The NEC SL1100 1100061 is a proprietary digital telephone with 12 programmable keys and a backlit three-line display showing 24 characters. It connects to a compatible SL1100 system and provides a two-step adjustable stand for desk use.
Programmable keys and directories
Twelve keys with red and green LEDs give one-touch access to lines or features, while four soft keys and a navigator key control on-screen menus. A 20-entry personal directory and a 1000-entry system directory are stored on the system, and eight selectable ring tones let users distinguish calls.
Office users needing a system phone
This handset suits staff who rely on a NEC SL1100 PBX for full-duplex speakerphone calls, headset use and features such as call forwarding, do-not-disturb and power-saving sleep mode. Buyers without an SL1100 system or who need SIP or analogue connectivity should look at other models.

Questions about this item
Will the headset port or handset cord need replacing after heavy daily use?
The telephone includes a dedicated headset port and a nine-foot handset cord; both are standard mechanical parts that can be swapped without tools if they wear out.
How many entries can the directories hold before I must delete old numbers?
The personal directory stores up to 20 numbers and the system directory holds up to 1000 entries; once full you must remove existing records to add new ones.
Does the speakerphone or backlit display generate noticeable heat during all-day operation?
The full-duplex speakerphone and backlit three-line display are low-power components; the unit also features a power-saving sleep mode that reduces energy draw when idle.
