60-Button DSS Console for NEC SL1100/SL2100

The NEC BE116519 console adds sixty programmable keys with LED status indicators to compatible NEC SL1100 and SL2100 telephone systems. It is designed for receptionists and call-handling staff who need one-touch access to extensions, lines and system features.

Expansion module interface limits

The console connects as an expansion module to a supported NEC desk phone, drawing power and signalling through that host device. Functionality is confined to the feature set exposed by the SL1100 or SL2100 platform, so advanced applications outside the phone system are not supported.

Sixty keys cover typical front-desk needs

Sixty illuminated buttons handle busy reception workflows such as direct station selection, line appearances and feature codes. Sites requiring more than sixty programmable appearances will need additional consoles or a different attendant solution.

Questions about this item

Which NEC phone systems is the 60-button DSS console BE116519 designed to work with?

How do the 60 programmable keys with LEDs help a receptionist in daily use?

Each key can be assigned to an extension, trunk or feature, and the LED shows real-time status such as busy, ringing or do-not-disturb so calls can be transferred or monitored at a glance.

It connects via the system’s dedicated DSS port using the supplied cable, drawing power and data from the phone system without needing a separate power supply.
