NEC V332X DLP projector for business and home

The NEC V332X is a DLP projector rated at 3300 lumens with a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768. It supports 3D content and accepts 1080p signals, making it suitable for presentations, classroom use and home cinema viewing. Two HDMI inputs allow straightforward connection to laptops, media players or games consoles.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The lamp has been cleaned and tested, with over 50 % of its rated life remaining, so brightness and heat output stay consistent during extended sessions. Built-in speakers provide audio without extra hardware, reducing the number of active devices in the room. No specific acoustic or power-draw figures are supplied by the manufacturer.

Installation flexibility and connectivity

The projector throws an image from 30.00 inches up to 300.00 inches and supports front, rear, ceiling and table-top mounting. Vertical keystone and colour correction help align the picture on uneven surfaces. Crestron RoomView compatibility enables network monitoring in managed installations.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the NEC V332X on a ceiling and which setting do people forget?

Enable the ceiling projection option in the menu after you hang the unit upside down; the image will stay inverted until that setting is switched on.

When will the lamp need changing and has the filter been serviced?

The genuine lamp has only a few hours on it with more than half its rated life left, and the filter has already been cleaned.

What brightness drop appears first during a long presentation at 3300 lumens?

The 3300-lumen output will gradually dim as the lamp ages; the contrast ratio of 10,000:1 remains stable until the lamp is replaced.
