Ready-to-use lighting kit

The Neewer K15-US delivers a two-light kit powered by USB at 5V/3A. Each 12-inch panel holds 352 LED beads and produces up to 1700 lux of flicker-free output. Three fixed colour temperatures of 2500K, 4500K and 8500K are selectable, with brightness adjustable from 10 to 100 percent. The foldable metal tripods extend to 62 inches and collapse to 16 inches for transport.

Solo creators and small teams

This kit suits streamers, podcasters, beauty professionals and home-office workers who need quick, portable illumination for short-form video or calls. The USB power requirement means a wall adapter, power bank or laptop port must be available; users without convenient USB power sources or those needing battery-only operation should consider alternatives. Studios requiring higher output, wireless control or larger light modifiers will find the 15W panels limiting.

Output and practical limits

At 15W each panel comfortably lights a single subject at conversational distance for talking-head, tutorial or product shots. The 1700 lux maximum provides clean key light in a dim room but cannot overpower strong daylight or fill large group setups. Heat dissipation is handled passively, so extended sessions remain stable, yet the fixed colour steps and USB tether restrict flexibility for location work where mains power is absent.

Questions about this item

What USB power source do I need to run the 15W lights?

Each panel draws 5V/3A through USB, so use a wall adapter, power bank, laptop or desktop port that can supply at least 15W per light.

Will the foldable tripod reach the 62-inch height I use for overhead shots?

Yes, the metal tripod extends to 62 inches (157 cm) and folds down to 16 inches (41 cm) for storage.

How can I confirm the 352 LEDs are delivering the three colour temperatures?

Cycle the colour-temperature button; the panel steps through 2500K, 4500K and 8500K, and the built-in diffuser gives even, flicker-free output at each setting.
