Kit contents and intended users

The Neewer US-L220X2 kit supplies two 15W LED panels, two telescopic tripods, two ball heads and two phone holders. It is aimed at creators who need a compact, USB-C powered lighting solution for live streaming, video calls, TikTok or YouTube production. Buyers who require higher output for large studio spaces or battery-powered location work will need a different system.

Sustained output and heat behaviour

Each panel delivers a maximum of 1700 lumens at 15 watts and is powered continuously through a 5V/3A USB-C connection, so brightness does not drop as a battery would drain. The thickened diffuser and metal tripod construction keep the light stable during long recording sessions without overheating or shifting position.

Deciding specification

The colour rendering index of 95 combined with a 2500K to 8500K adjustable range in 10 brightness steps provides 30 distinct colour-temperature settings. If your workflow demands accurate colour reproduction across warm, neutral and cool tones, this range is the critical factor; if you need a fixed daylight balance or higher CRI, look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 15W LED panel get when running all day?

The 15W panels produce 1700 lumens with a thickened diffuser for soft light and run silently with no fan, so heat and noise stay minimal during extended sessions.

What power source must I already have to use the USB-C charging?

Any 5V/3A USB-C source — laptop, desktop, monitor or power bank — powers the 6.6ft cable for continuous lighting.

Will the 1/4'' thread and phone holder work with my older tripod and smartphone?

Yes, each panel includes a standard 1/4'' threaded hole for legacy tripods and a phone holder that fits current smartphones.
