NELSON PAINT 29 Boundary Marking Paint Red 1 gal 3.78 L

Boundary Marking Paint Red 1 gal

This water-based boundary marking paint comes in a one-gallon container and is designed for line striping on wood and other surfaces. It can be applied with a brush, spray or marking gun depending on the project requirements. The product is intended for professional and industrial users who need durable, high-visibility markings in demanding environments.

Upgrading from aerosol or smaller cans

Switching from aerosol striping cans or smaller paint containers is worthwhile when a job calls for 1320 linear feet of two-inch striping or when consistent coverage over large areas is required. The larger volume reduces the frequency of refills on extended projects such as parking lots, warehouses or sports fields. Buyers who only need occasional touch-ups or short runs will not benefit from the one-gallon size.

Installation and common issues

Application is straightforward: stir the paint, then apply by brush, spray or marking gun at temperatures between -14 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The coating becomes tack-free in 15 minutes and fully dry in 30 minutes under normal conditions. Common problems include spraying outside the recommended temperature range, which can cause uneven film build, and failing to clean marking-gun nozzles promptly, leading to clogged tips.
