ThinkMate Server Compatibility

This 192GB kit contains six 32GB DDR4 3200 ECC registered DIMMs validated for ThinkMate HDX-XN24-52S3, HDX-XN24-32S3, HDX-XN12-52S3 and HDX-XN12-32S3 servers. The modules use major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix and operate at 1.20V with CL22 latency.

Registered ECC Requirement

The single specification that decides fit is the registered ECC RDIMM format; only motherboards that accept 288-pin DDR4 registered ECC modules at PC4-25600 can use this kit. Standard unbuffered or non-ECC memory will not work in these ThinkMate platforms.

Straightforward Module Installation

Installation follows normal server DIMM procedure: power down, open the chassis, align the 288-pin key and press until the ejectors latch. Common issues are mixing registered with unbuffered DIMMs, populating slots in the wrong channel order or leaving a module partially seated, which causes boot failure.
